Age Verification & Likeness Policy

Why this policy exists
Amaryn is an adults-only companion service, and some of its features involve a person's face. Both facts demand hard rules, stated in advance, enforced without exceptions. These are ours.
1. Age verification (every account)
- Every account must pass age verification before the service opens: date-of-birth attestation at signup, plus verification through a specialized identity provider (document + liveness check) before any mature content or paid tier is available.
- We never receive or store your ID document. The verification provider confirms "18 or over: yes/no" and gives us a reference number. That result and reference are all we keep.
- If verification fails or is declined, the account cannot proceed, and any fees paid are refunded.
- Verification is required for every tier. There is no unverified mode, no preview mode for minors, and no "13+ with restrictions" mode. Under 18 means no account, full stop.
2. The likeness wall (The Album tier)
- The Album tier can place a real person beside your companion in generated media: that person can only ever be you.
- Your likeness is verified by a live selfie check against your age-verification identity. Uploading photos of another person as "yourself" is a terminating violation.
- No generation using the likeness of any other real person: not a celebrity, not an ex-partner, not a friend who consented verbally, not a deceased loved one. There is no consent flow for someone else's face, by design.
- Your likeness model is used only to generate your account's media, is never shared across accounts, and is deleted when you delete it or close your account.
3. Absolute content floor
No sexual content involving minors, no depictions of minors in any romantic or sexual context, and no attempts to make a companion or generated media appear underage. One violation permanently ends the account, and where the law requires, we report to the appropriate authorities. This floor outranks every other promise in these policies, including privacy.
4. Records
We retain: the attestation timestamp, the provider verification result and reference, and the acceptance record of these policies. We do not retain ID documents, document images, or raw biometric data. Verification records are kept for as long as the law requires and no longer.
